How to know if you have (irreversible) hair loss?

Scarring is the destruction of the hair follicle, and apart from a few rare exceptions such as cicatricial alopecia, it typically doesn't occur in the early stages of hair loss. On the contrary, having bald spots where hair hasn't grown in a long time may be a sign of scarring and therefore irreversible hair loss. Will the Strength Shampoo help improve hair growth?
- The Hair Strength Shampoo will not help improve hair growth on its own. It is formulated to help reduce excessive sebum and encourage a balanced scalp.
  
  These factors are however important when creating an optimal environment for helping enhance hair growth. We always recommend using the Shampoo alongside the Hair Recovery Conditioner and Bio-Pilixin® Serum in cases where you would like to help reduce hair loss and improve hair growth.
How often should the Strength Shampoo be applied?
- The Hair Strength Shampoo is designed for daily cleansing without stripping the hair of naturally occurring oils.
  
  The recommended amount of Hair Strength Shampoo is 8 mL per cleanse. The bottle contains 250 mL in total and holds roughly a month’s supply, if cleansing daily. However, it is recommended to adjust the amount used in accordance with hair length, scalp type, and personal preferences.
Why does the shampoo not contain sulfate?
- Sulfates are detergents commonly found in cosmetic and household cleaning products. Sulfates act on the scalp and hair surfaces to remove build-up such as dirt, oil, and other product residues while enabling lather.
  
  Since sulfates are highly effective cleansers and can be great in many cases, some people may experience that they can remove natural oils from the hair and skin. With time, this can result in hair that feels dry, rough, or brittle. Shampoo’s without classical sulfates allow those that experience dryness from sulfates to wash the hair and scalp more regularly while maintaining shine.
Is the shampoo dermatologically tested?
- Yes, patch tests were performed under dermatological control on a group of 25 volunteers with normal skin. In the tested group of volunteers there were no irritations or allergic reactions.
Are the products allergen-free?
- Although all our products are dermatologically tested, they are not allergen-free. Eucalyptus oil (limonene) have sensitising properties, meaning they can evoke allergies for certain individuals. It is highly encouraged to check all ingredients before starting to ensure you do not suffer from any allergies of the listed ingredients.
  If unsure, perform a patch test before application. To perform a patch test simply apply a small amount of the product onto a clean area of skin on the upper forearm, following 24 hours rinse the area. If any redness, itching, blistering or irritation is observed at any time throughout the test, do not use the product.
