Dr. Alpana Mohta, MD, DNB, is an award-winning, triple board-certified dermatologist with certifications from two Indian boards and the Dubai Health Authority. She has advanced training in pediatric dermatology, aesthetic dermatology, dermatosurgery, cutaneous allergies, and pigmentary disorders, and runs her own private practice in India.
Dr. Mohta is a Fellow of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, the Skin of Color Society, and the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists, and Leprologists. She boasts over 100 research publications in prestigious peer-reviewed journals and has received multiple awards from international societies, including the Imrich Sarkany non-European Memorial Scholarship, bursary travel grants from the British Association of Dermatologists and the International Society of Atopic Dermatitis, and the Strauss and Katz World Congress Fund Scholarship from the American Academy of Dermatology.
In medical school, Dr. Mohta's academic achievements were exceptional, earning her numerous medals, distinctions, and the title of ‘best resident’ for two consecutive years.
