A clinical efficacy study of Bio-Pilixin® Formula found that hair loss is reduced after 45 days of use. However, it takes 150 days to see the full effects of Bio-Pilixin® Formula, including an increase in hair density and a positive shift in the hair growth cycle.
It is important to note that although all products are of natural origin, they are not allergen-free. Vanillyl butyl ether and eucalyptus oil (limonene) have sensitising properties, meaning they can evoke allergies for certain individuals. It is highly encouraged to check all ingredients before starting to ensure there are no allergies to any of the listed ingredients.
If unsure, perform a patch test before application. To perform a patch test simply apply a small amount of the product onto a clean area of skin on the upper forearm, following 24 hours rinse the area. If any redness, itching, blistering or irritation is observed at any time throughout the test, do not use the product.
Take 2 tablets per day orally. The recommended daily dose should not be exceeded. Dietary supplements are intended to supplement the diet and should not take the place of varied diets.

A 150-day in vivo study with a cohort of 30 men and women examining the effect of Bio-Pilixin® demonstrated the following:
- 93.3 % experienced a reduction in hair loss after 150 days with a mean reduction of 52% of hair falling out compared to the first day of the study
- 70% experienced an increase in hair density with an average increase of slightly over 8%
- 90% of the cohort demonstrated an average of 20% more hairs in the anagen phase after 150 days and 86% of the cohort demonstrated an average decrease of 40% in the telogen phase at the end of the study
