Are there silicones in the Hair Protection Oil?
- No, the Hair Protection Oil utilises plant-based alternatives. Many hair oils on the market contain silicones. While silicones are excellent hair shaft protectors, we wanted to create an oil that was more suitable for those that for any reason would not like to use silicone based products.
Is the Hair Protection Oil dermatologically tested?
- Yes, patch tests were performed under dermatological control on a group of 25 volunteers with normal skin. In the tested group of volunteers there were no irritations or allergic reactions.
Are the products allergen-free?
- Our Hair Protection Oil is free of the 26 major allergens. Notably, the hair oil is also fragrance-free so it is intended to be used by those with sensitivities to both natural and synthetic scents.
  
  If you for any reason are unsure, perform a patch test before application. To perform a patch test simply apply a small amount of the product onto a clean area of skin on the upper forearm, following 24 hours rinse the area. If any redness, itching, blistering or irritation is observed at any time throughout the test, do not use the product.
Is it suitable for all hair types?
- While the hair oil is suitable for all hair types, it is especially suited for those with longer hair, who have a desire to prevent and repair damaged ends
Will the hair oil weigh down my hair?
- The oil aims to be lightweight so that it will not weigh down hair. It may be heavier than conventional hair oils, as it utilises plant-based alternatives instead of silicones.
Does the Hair Protection Oil protect from heat and UV?
- The Hair Protection Oil contains the ingredient, Campestris/Aleurites Fordi Oil Copolymer. The ingredient has been demonstrated to help protect the hair shaft from temperatures up to 230 celcius and the Hair Protection Oil uses the recommended concentration by the supplier.
  
  The Hair Protection Oil does not contain conventional UV filters. This is mainly due to the difficulty of finding environmentally-friendly filters.
