How it works
1
Why do you need to replace the Scalp Activating Derma Roller?
As with a razor blade, needles become dull over time. Regular replacement helps ensure precise scalp stimulation and minimizes irritation.
2
Subscription or one-time options?
As ongoing replacements are often needed, we offer both subscription and one-time purchase options.
3
Full flexibility, always
You can manage, adjust, or pause your delivery schedule anytime through our Customer Portal — while still keeping your subscription discount. No binding period.

1. Prepare Your Scalp
Make sure your scalp is clean, dry, and free from product residue. This reduces the risk of irritation and ensures a more even treatment.
2. Roll in Multiple Directions
Gently roll over the desired areas (e.g., hairline, crown, and areas with thinning hair) using light pressure. Roll both vertically and horizontally 5–10 times in each direction, ensuring the strokes slightly overlap.
3. Apply Bio-Pilixin Serum
Apply Bio-Pilixin® Activation Serum or your preferred treatment immediately after use to enhance absorption into the scalp.
4. Clean & Store Properly
Rinse thoroughly under warm water to remove any residue. Disinfect in 70–80% alcohol (e.g., rubbing alcohol) for approximately 5–10 minutes. Allow it to air dry completely before storing it in its container.
5. Commit to Regular Use
Use the roller 1–2 times per week. We recommend starting with once a week, but this can be increased to twice weekly if you experience good tolerance. Consistency is key - regular and proper use over time is more important than increasing frequency. To ensure optimal effectiveness and hygiene, we recommend replacing the device after 8–10 treatments (equivalent to 1–2 months with recommended use). Visible results are typically seen after 3–6 months of consistent use.

The Scalp Activation Derma Roller is intended to be gently rolled across the surface of the scalp using light, even pressure. It should not be pressed forcefully or used in a way that causes discomfort. The goal is to maintain a comfortable cosmetic experience. If you are unsure how much pressure to apply, start with minimal pressure and adjust based on your personal comfort level.
The Scalp Activation Derma Roller is not intended to be used on broken, inflamed, or irritated skin. If you are experiencing skin discomfort or scalp conditions, we recommend pausing use and consulting a healthcare professional before resuming.
Immediately after microneedling, the scalp should be kept as hygienic as possible and away from substances that may cause additional irritation.
It is best to use the Scalp Activation Derma Roller after washing your hair and two hours before activities. It is helpful to rest a little after the microneedling to provide the body with some rest so that it can focus on supporting the scalp.
Derma rolling might hurt slightly at first, but it should generally be a safe and painless procedure. If you experience any pain or redness, discontinue use immediately and contact a health professional.
The product follows our Shipping & Returns policy. You can also find the refund policy on the same page.
For hygiene and performance reasons, we recommend replacing your Scalp Activation Derma Roller after 8–10 treatments (approximately every 1-2 months with recommended weekly use). Consistent and proper use over time is more important than increasing frequency. Never share the roller with others. If the needles become bent or damaged, the roller should be replaced immediately.
There are differences between professional microneedling treatments and at-home derma rolling, particularly in the depth of penetration and intensity. While professional treatments are typically administered using longer needles in clinical settings, at-home rollers like ours are designed for more gentle use.
