GOT QUESTIONS? WE'VE GOT ANSWERS
-
Can a serum be used directly after using the Scalp Activation Derma Roller?
A dermaroller can be used to assist in complementing the serum. It has been suggested that derma rolling can lead to enhanced skin penetration, allowing a serum or active ingredient to penetrate deeper into the skin or scalp over topical application. It's important to note that any serums are intended for use after rolling.
-
How strongly should the Scalp Activation Derma Roller be pressed against the scalp during use?
It's best to do it the way you feel comfortable. For beginners of micro needling, we recommend applying less pressure at first to create only superficial stimulations. If unsure, we always recommend seeking advice from your healthcare professional.
-
Can I use microneedling on an inflamed, irritated skin or scalp?
In instances such as this, we recommend asking your healthcare professional before starting the Scalp Activation Derma Roller.
-
Do I need to take special care of my scalp after microneedling (cream, keep away from dirt, sufficient air supply?)
Immediately after microneedling, the scalp should be kept as hygienic as possible and away from substances that may cause additional irritation.
-
When is the best time to microneedle?
It is best to use the Scalp Activation Derma Roller after washing your hair and two hours before activities. It is helpful to rest a little after the microneedling to provide the body with some rest so that it can focus on supporting the scalp.
-
Does it hurt to derma rolling?
Derma rolling might hurt slightly at first, but it should generally be a safe and painless procedure. If you experience any pain or redness, discontinue use immediately and contact a health professional.
-
Why don't we use stainless steel needles?
For two reasons. Firstly, we found out that some customers might be allergic to steel. Titanium microneedles offer a safe and durable way to overcome that. Secondly, titanium needles are typically more durable and retain their sharpness for longer. Although this means increased costs, we want our customers to have the best experience.
-
What is your refund policy?
The product follows our Shipping & Returns policy. You can also find the refund policy on the same page.
-
Does the dermal roller increase elastin and collagen production?
Derma rolling uses tiny needles to cause micro injuries in the skin. This triggers the skin regeneration process which boosts collagen production as the skin repairs itself. The increased collagen over time leads to stronger new hair growth.
-
How often should you replace your roller?
How often to replace your microneedle roller depends largely on your usage. If you're using it more frequently, it means you should have it replaced earlier. However, if you use it according to our instructions, we recommend a replacement every 3 months for the best results.
-
Is there any difference between professional derma rolling and micro derma rolling at home?
In theory, there should be no difference between results at home or professionally. You can get great results with regular use according to the recommended rolling instructions.
